Elm Tree Communities, Haddam, CT

A new 56-unit residential complex situated in the scenic CT River Valley offering outdoor adventure, community-driven amenities and innovative technology in a convenient setting millennials and young professionals will love to call home.

This project by Elm Tree Communities, LLC was approved by Town of Haddam Planning and Zoning Committee on May 20th, 2021 and was effected on June 10th, 2021.

CASE STUDY 1

As President of Elm Tree Communities, LLC ("ETC"), Jeff Hartmann is currently leading the development of a 56-unit multi-family residential project along the Connecticut River in Haddam, CT:​

  • Project will consist of 56-units

  • Currently planning on the construction of 3 buildings plus a clubhouse with fitness center

  • Each building will have 2 stories

  • The total square footage of the project is approximately 53,501 square feet

  • The project will be constructed on a 4.2 acre lot

CASE STUDY 2

As President of Experienta Development Partners, Jeff Hartmann led the development of The Shops at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, NC:

  • At the time, Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort was in the midst of a major masterplan expansion

  • The project included a new hotel tower, convention center, related parking structures as well as major retail, dining and entertainment expansion

  • The approximate size of the project was 233,000 square feet

  • The gross leasing area was 158,000 square feet

  • The total project cost was $85 million

CASE STUDY 3

As COO of Mohegan Sun, Jeff Hartmann led the master planning exercise working with Elkus Manfredi Architects to create a ten-year master plan in March of 2009: 

  • Identified non-gaming development opportunities

  • Established a design vision for future developments

  • Resolved traffic and circulation issues

  • Enhanced the sense of arrival

  • Created a staging plan of how the property would be developed
